I have curly long thick and grossly frizzy flyaway hair. I was thinking of getting it thinned, or layered, but I want to know if this is going to make matters worse for me? Any recommendations?
Does thinning your hair make it even frizzier?
Depending one where and how you get your hair thinned it could make matters worse. By thinning close to the top layer of your hair you will be removing weight that makes it even curlier, meaning it will stick up every where. Layers will help as long as they are not too short on top.... use a frizz serum of some kind, anything that has some kind of oil as one of the first 3 ingredients would work wonders on taming fly aways..

It would prob help it some, but it will not make the frizzies go away!! Ask you hair stylist what would be best for your hair!! You can have it relaxed or straightened!!

yes i have done this before i have alot of hair...it makes it frizzy fluffy like a little chick especially if they use a razor..thinning shears are better and don't cause that much of a problem...too many layers can cause this problem as well.....you need most likely layers toward the face and slicing done a technique done with scissors
