Ask your hair stylist to thin your hair at the ends.
It'll only look good if you have layered hair to your shoulder though.

How does one get the nice straight thin hair that Korean girls have?
actually, not many korean people have straight hair (I'd know, I have slight curl in my hair, I'm korean :]) but the method I see people using is called Magic Straight. It's a chemical treatment that will relax the hair straight and keep it that way for about 6 months. cost depends on how much hair you have. and your thick hair will DEFINITELY look thinner than what you had before. any korean salon would most likely do it for you, and korean salons aren't very hard to find. :P
hope I helped. :D
