This would depend on your face shape. You can go on some magazine sites and find out what cut is the best for your face shape. I do remember a few articles in recent magazines or maybe try to google it.

i think you should get layers. if your hair is too thick, then the layer will make ur hair more puffier but if your hair is thin and/or between then, i think layer will make u look beautiful :]
