Oil and eggs on hair?

I have thinning hair and have heard about putting olive oil and eggs on my hair is good for this.

Does anyone know how long to put it on for and the amount. Does it look greasy or do you wash it out with shampoo after.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oil and eggs on hair?

hi i'm a hairdresser in the UK..

on average we lose 100-200 hairs per day.

thinning hair - can be stress related/depression, medication, bad diet.

generally with thinning hair, its best to use thickening/volumising products on the hair.

if u are worried tho - go to ur doctor to make sure its not anything serious!!

but if ur hair is strong enough - u mite be able to have hair extensions. if not..

- make sure u have a healthy diet

- keep hair in good condition using deep conditioning treatments, leave in conditioner

- avoid using heat appliances where possible and if u do, use a thermal protection spray.

- get ur hair trimmed regularly - 4/6 week

Putting eggs and oil in your hair won't help with thinning, but it will help with dryness in your hair. Leave it in for a while, then wash it. To keep your hair moisturized, ALWAYS condition after shampooing. :]

I personally stay away from home mixtures such as those. They can be extremely oily on your hair, and don't fully wash out for a long time. Plus, they smell.

If you are thinning/balding in the hair dept., try visiting your doctor and ask for some advice there. You never know what products can do. :)

Oil and eggs on hair?

It really does work! Well it works more for dry hair bcause it moisturizez it and it also makes it look healty and if you mix it in henna it makes the colour look more vibrant/spontaneous etc. You have to wait for a while! SO that means a few hours for it to sink in to your hair and scalp. it really depends on your hair type and the thickness of it. After those few hours you are ont eh right track about what you said you wash it with shampoo! Avoid conditionars because that will amke it greasy! Trust me! And don't wash it too much because then it will make it totaly dry! So yeah you wash it! It will help moisturizwee your hair without making it too greasy. ANywyas hope this helped! Good Luck! Get Crackin' :P lol
